Helen Duong; 111 words.
He's always been waiting, but Helen never turns her head. She never looks back at him; the only thing he wants is for her to glance back at him, give him a second chance. That was after she found the lipstick stain on his pressed, white shirt. She had just ironed it that morning, and when he came home, he smelled of rosy perfume and his hair tussled.

'Give me another chance Helen, I can do you right.'

'I'm sorry Donghae, I can't trust you anymore.'

Donghae grabs a vase from his side and smashes it, holding onto a long, jagged edge piece.

'Well, if you won't stay with me, you won't stay with anybody.'

Helen Duong #2; 191 words.
She's always been prone to paper cuts, not matter how thin or thick the paper. She's sitting on a bench outside the store holding a new book, and she cuts her index finger. The blood drips down slowly at first, but then the drips stain the page in blood red, and a man walks by.

'Hey, you know that blood stains right?'

She looks up and he's smiling. She ignores him as he sits down next to her and so begins the start of something dark and bleak. She's always coming home to a broken house; Donghae is always partying at night, and Helen is the one who has to clean it all up. during her free time, she reads the newspaper, but that paper cuts are always there, mocking her.

Donghae walks into the room and licks her finger. He smirks as he walks out the door, to another party. Helen looks out the window to see him kissing another girl. As he comes home a few hours later, he falls asleep in the couch.

Helen grins as she grabs the newspaper with the sharpest edge and slits his wrist.

'You'll never trick me again.'

Sophia Quan; 156 words.
She waits for him in the hotel room, they always meet on every other Tuesday, that's when he has his off nights. He tells her he's single, but she doesn't truly believe him. He rents out the room just for them twice a month. They always start out talking, but after awhile of getting nowhere, he gets impatient and the light dims.

He always leaves right after though, and once his clothes are on, he never looks back once at her.

'You're leaving already Kaname?'

He turns back this time and walks over to her. He tells her he loves her, and he embraces her with warm arms. She hugs him back softly, as to not be pulled into his warmth; she doesn't want to get tricked into another aimless love. She looks over his shoulder and to his briefcase, his wedding ring is sticking out, taunting her.

'Yeah, I love you too, forever.'

And she lets go and grabs his neck.

Sophia Quan #2; 205 words.
Whenever they're in bed together, he never stays in with her, apparently to him, he can't stay in one place for too long, everyone he cares about always leaves him. Sophia promises him that she'll never leave him, but he knows he can't trust her.

When they're having lunch together, she gets a call that she just has to take, and he apologizes and walk outside. After a while, she doesn't come back and he walks outside to follow her. He sees her hugging another man and he goes crazy.

He picks up a piece of jagged glass from the street and hides it behind his back.

'I thought you were never going to leave me Sophia.'

Sophia turns and pushes the other man away from her.

'Kaname, you're wrong! I'm not seeing him, He's just a business partner!'

He doesn't believe her, because he sees her lipstick on the other man's cheek. He lunges forward with the glass and the man jumps in front of Sophia.

'I can't let you hurt her.'

He falls to the ground in cold blood and Sophia slaps Kaname.

'You idiot! He was nothing to me!'

He grabs her wrist and punches her in her stomach, knocking her unconscious.

'I'll make sure nobody every comes between us ever again Sophia.'

Diana Vo; 165 words.
He's always sitting on the bench in the park, looking at the playground. She's always noticed him there, he never smiles though. So she finally decides to walk up to him.

'Hi, can I sit here?'

He motions for her to sit with empty eyes. She sits down, but she knows she's not good with conversational banter. After a few days of the same routine, he finally talks to her.

'Do you see that one in the yellow dress over there? She's mine, but I haven't talked to her in years, I doubt she even knows who I am.'

Diana looks over to the girl and she sees her playing with her mother. She looks back at Jay, and his eyes have changed. his has a sad smile across his face, and he's holding his heart. She hugs him and his smile drops.

'I'll be here for you, so smile, okay?

She looks down at his hand and the tan from the wedding ring is still there.

'I'll erase everything for you.'

Jessie Liu; 147 words.
She comes home late everyday, always a couple of hours after Ryuunosuke gets home. He's always waiting for her at home with a warm cup of tea and hoping to hear how her day went, but that's never the case. She got fired from her job that day, and things were going downhill from there.

Jessie gets home and he's not there waiting for her. She runs into all the rooms and finally into the bathroom. He's in the bathtub, his lungs filled with water. She pulls him out and holds his cold, lifeless body in her arms.

'This was useless. Was it because you loved me more than I loved you?'

She drops his body down to the floor and picks up her phone.

'Hey, he's gone. Can we meet up now? I'm addicted to your kisses.'

Jessie smiles as she looks back at him.

'I'm glad you loved me so much.'

Joan Dinh; 228 words.
She met him on the internet, she fell in love with him, he told her his name was Reita and that he didn't have a last name. She believed him because her infatuation with him was too strong to ignore or even question. She loved him with all her heart, but she knew he didn't feel the same way.

She always went over to his house, but he never went any farther with her than kissing. After coming home from work, he found her sleeping on the couch. He grabbed her neck and she woke up to a startle. Air was hard to take in and she could feel herself blacking out.

'Why do you taunt me so? Why do you leave so many openings?!'

He let her go and she runs away, not knowing what to do next. When nightfall arrives, she's back at his doorstep, with the choke marks still visible on her pale neck.

'If you come in, I don't know if I'll be able to control myself.'

She embraces him, as his hugs her back, undoing her bra strap; the door is still open, but it's so dark no one cares.

'I know you think you love me more than i love you, but trust me, you're wrong.'

She pulls the knife out of her pocket and he falls to the ground.

'I'll make sure you'll never go farther with anyone else.'
