Ch.1: We Hate Reita Part 2

"So what are we gonna do?" Diana asked with uncertainty.

"I don't know. Remember what happened the last time he sent her something?" Connie asked out loud as everyone nodded.

*Group flashback* a/n: I like it when we do things as a group XD

It was just another typical Saturday morning at TASF apartment. Julie, Sophia, Jessie & Connie were in the living room playing Smash Bros Wii, while Joan stood on the sidelines trying to get them to play Rockband. And since it was a Saturday, that could only mean one thing. Saturday morning pancakes. So as Helen was making pancakes, Diana was begging Helen to make her's with gummy bears.

"Hey, we got a postcard from Brenda. Hmm... looks like shes having fun in England. And of course, she sends her love and misses us all." Kimberly read out loud as she walked into the apartment with a the rest of the mail in her hand.

"Here's something for you Jessie, latest issue of GamePro, and here Joa-" Kimberly stopped her self before she knew what she said.

Everyone from TASF looked up.

"And h-here's a letter for y-you Joan, it's from Reita." Kimberly said hesitantly as she say the look on Joan's face.

All of TASF went quiet.

"Oh... thank you." Joan said with a forced smile, as she took the letter handed to her.

Joan stared at the letter intently and closed her eyes, and Kimberly could have sworn she saw a tear. But Joan suddenly shook her head and walked to the sink, turned on the garbage disposal, and shoved the letter down the drain.

"Well I think I'm gonna go take a shower."Joan said with a yet another forced smile, and she turned quickly and walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.

"Well this Saturday's ruined." Jessie said, breaking the awkward silenced left by Joan.

"Yeah, and just when things were starting to get better."

~Later that day...

"Hmmm... you think Joan is really gonna like this?" Sophia asked as she carried in a huge basket of strawberries into the apartment.

"Well of course, she loves strawberries. Who doesn't?" Kimberly said as she popped a 9th strawberry into her mouth, before Julie could slap it out of her hand.

"I have a feeling these will be gone before Joan even sees them."Connie said with a sigh.

"Hmmm... should have bought more then" Kimberly said trying to grab another strawberry, but failed. Julie made sure of that.

"Just one more I swea-" Kimberly started.

"Shut up." Helen said suddenly.

"Why?" Kimberly asked.

"Listen."

As TASF settled down, a faint melody could be heard coming from the room shared between Julie, Diana, Connie & Joan.

"It's the song Reita wrote her." Sophia said out loud.

"But I thought she trashed all his music."Jessie said turning towards the others.

"Well I guess not." Julie replied with a sigh.

*End Group Flashback*

"So what are we gonna do about this?" Helen said holding up the letter. But before anyone could say anything, the sound of a slamming door shook the apartment.

"Oh hey you guys, you would not believe the day I had... hey why are you all crowded together? What's Helen trying to hide behind her back?" Joan asked as she took of her jacket and walked towards them.

Letting go of the breathe she was was holding in, Julie took the letter from Helen.

"Joan you know what this is... and it's time you take it and read it."Julie said with a serious tone, holding the letter out to Joan.

"Oh... I see.. well I'll jus-" Joan began.

"No, you have to read it, you can't keep this charade up." Sophia said, knowing too well what Joan was going to do to the letter.

"Yeah, you don't know it but we hear you every time you secretly play the song he wrote you." Connie added.

"So why are you doing this to yourself. To him?" Diana asked

"Sure we all think he was a really fucking jerk for what he did, and we all hate his guts for what his actions are doing to you. But it's obvious that you love him." Kimberly said calmly.

By now, Joan was on the verge of breaking down, the walls she put up to hide her weakness from her friends were coming down.

"So take this, go into your room, and figure this shit out" Helen said as she handed the letter to Joan, and added and encouraging push.

The rest of TASF watched as their friend finally took the letter and walked off into her room, closing the door behind her.
